爱情最高形式

Love in the Highest Form is a project based on internet. My late husband Yuan Yi and me had a long distance relationship for three years, during which we exchanged uncountable amount of images of each other and of our surroundings. And every time when we video-chat, he was almost trying to capture every single frame. Yuan Yi passed away on April 14, 2014, since then I have spent much time looking through images of us in his hard-drives. For safer preservation and better organization, I decided to upload them on the Internet. Love in the highest form is the image of lover but not lover himself/herself, the memory of passion but not passion itself. Love in the highest form is separation.

爱情最高形式是一个基于网络的项目。我和我的先生袁奕曾经历三年的远距离恋爱，此间我们交换了难以计数的图片——我的样子，他的样子，以及我们的周围。每次与他视频通话，他都仿佛想要截下每一帧画面。2014年4月14日袁奕离世，之后我时常翻阅他的硬盘中属于我们两人的图片。为了更好的分类和更安全的保存，我决定把它们上传到网络，同时决定将它们公开。爱情最高形式是恋人的影像而非恋人本身，对激情的追忆而非激情本身，是牡丹亭下的梦中人。爱情最高形式是分离。
